”Up-to-date challenges in Aeronautics: Solutions of young scientists” Russian-German Workshop, photo

August 17-19, 2009, "Up-to-date challenges in Aeronautics: Solutions of young scientists" Russian-German Workshop took place in TsAGI as part of the MAKS International Air Show.

The participants presented their research results and novel technological solutions in aerodynamics, dynamics and aircraft strength that included the current criteria of ecology, security, and economical efficiency that were aimed at contributing to joint cooperative projects.

Andrea Kuhn, International Cooperation Department, spoke about programs of exchange of specialists in DLR

Andreas Bierig, Deputy Head of system design and critical technologies Department, proposed his own vision to design reliable space systems

Joerg Blumrich, DLR EB Member, presented ideas about the path from experimental methods to quality management

Andrew Chernov engineer of RD-3, presented the engineering approach for investigating fragment impacts on aircraft structure

Sergey Bosnyakov, Deputy Head of RD-1, Maxim Danilov, a young specialist from DLR, and Andreas Manecke, Manager, DLR, shared their opinions on aviation challenges

TsAGI young specialists: Rouslan Mirgazov, JRS of RD-5, Constantine Kossoushkin, engineer of RC and Alexandra Belchikhina, engineer of RC, are discussing the presentations of scientists from DLR

The participation in international scientific events is of great interest for young specialists therefore TsAGI is going to initiate a series of scientific and technical workshops jointly with European research Centers that are promising partners of our Institute in aeronautical sciences.
