STAI Letter of Appreciation

Dr. Vasily Rukavets Dr. Rukavets, On behalf of the Supersonic Tunnel Association International (STAI) Executive Council and membership, I would like to offer our sincere appreciation for your hospitality in hosting the 106th meeting of the STAI in Moscow. The accommodations for the meeting were excellent. The tour of TsAGI was something many of our members have looked forward to for many years, although it was disappointing that more of our members could not make the trip. TsAGI is indeed an experimental institution of historic proportions. The kindness your staff displayed to us was exemplary. Everyone within your organization was very helpful and strived to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The Sunday evening dinner, Monday bus tour, and Tuesday evening banquet were wonderful. I think it will be very difficult for hosts in the future to match the great experience had during the Tuesday banquet! Please pass on our sincere gratitude to everyone involved with this event, especially Varvara Bodrova and Sergey Korolev who spent so much time making sure we all received the proper information for our visas, and for making sure our accommodations were in order.
