August 17-19, 2009, "Up-to-date challenges in Aeronautics: Solutions of young scientists" Russian-German Workshop took place in TsAGI as part of the MAKS International Air Show.
The participants presented their research results and novel technological solutions in aerodynamics, dynamics and aircraft strength that included the current criteria of ecology, security, and economical efficiency that were aimed at contributing to joint cooperative projects.

Sergey Bosnyakov, Deputy Head of RD-1, Maxim Danilov, a young specialist from DLR, and Andreas Manecke, Manager, DLR, shared their opinions on aviation challenges
