PERSPECTIVE AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES International Scientific Workshop Zhukovsky, August 17-19, 2009

International Scientific Workshop "Perspective Aviation Technologies" organized by the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is to be held on August 17-19, 2009 in Zhukovsky in the frames of International Aviation&Space Salon MAKS 2009.

TsAGI performs different scientific forums attracting variety of the scientists and engineers on the regular base aiming at promotion of information exchange and exploration of effective international cooperation in the field of aeronautical science.

Aviation field as a part of science intensive sector is characterized by a high perceptibility of up-to-date scientific and technical solutions. Presently, aircraft development and its competitiveness improvement are only possible under condition of the necessary scientific-technical backlog and core technologies integration.

Programme of the workshop stipulates for the following topical survey:

• forecasts, problems and priorities determining the directions of fundamental and applied scientific research and perspectives of aviation technological base development;
• comprehensive perspective projects in aeronautical industry;
• challenges in aerodynamics, new materials, power plant and instrument engineering for the purpose of safety and security increase, ecology enhancement, as well as economy efficiency optimization.

Representatives of the Russian and foreign R&D organizations, design bureaus and industrial companies of aeronautics and dedicated areas will take part in the workshop.

We do hope that the workshop enables open conversation about difficulties and success in new technological development processes, share practical experience, strengthen professional and friendly relationships.

The workshop will take place in TsAGI Scientists Club situated in 7, Zhukosvky str., Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, Russia.

Call for papers

Interested contributors are asked to send the registration form and an abstract (please refer to requirements) in electronic format to the Organising Committee not later than July 15, 2009. Organising Committee will inform you about of your paper`s acceptance not later than July 25, 2009.

Specialists who are going to participate without a presentation are kindly asked to register not later than July 25, 2009 on-line.

Language

English is an official working language of the Workshop.
