"Perspective Aviation Technologies" International Scientific and Technical Workshop opened the scientific fora of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute n.a. prof. N.E. Zhukovsky. The workshop was organized under the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The forecasts, challenges and priorities were considered that determined the trends of fundamental and applied research as well as the development of technological basis of aircraft engineering and integrated perspective projects in areas of the aviation industry.

Sergey Chernyshev, Director General of TsAGI, and Alexander Bobovnikov, Head of Zhukovsky city, were the Co-chairmen of the "Perspective Aeronautical Technologies" International Workshop

Oleg Sirotkin, Director General of NIAT JSC, was the first among the speakers to make a presentation on aircraft engineering technologies

Vladimir Neuland, Director Counselor, and Dmitry Klimov, RAS Member. These men, who participated in the Workshop, are the pride of Russian national science

152 representatives from Russian and foreign R&D institutes, experimental design bureaus and production plants of the aviation industry took part in this Workshop
