The contribution of the Russian Federation into the European Framework Program projects focused at a single research and development area generation is one of the perspective tendencies of the international scientific and technical cooperation. One of the major goals of European policy towards research area is support of the competitive projects devoted to novel aircrafts development, enhancing the flight safety and reducing the environmental impact. The high science and research potential of the specialists in this area and the unique experimental capabilities enable the Russian enterprises to be the full partners in European R&D joint projects.
EU — Russia Working Group has made a decision about the Fourth Workshop "EU — Russia Cooperation in Aeronautics Research" to be held in Moscow; the workshop aimed at enhancing the interaction with European community in science and technology, providing the informational and methodological support to Russian organizations keen on participation in the FP7 international projects.
During the Workshop, a large scope of issues dedicated to development of the new forms of Russia and European Community international R&D cooperation, to trends of aeronautical research and the joint projects to develop the new generation aircraft is expected to be discussed. The practical aspects of implementing the EU — Russia Coordinated Call within the 3rd Call of FP7 (Aeronautics and Air Transport) will be considered as well.
The decision-makers of the Russian aviation industry, representatives of European commission responsible for aeronautics, the representatives of the leading research centers and aerospace companies of Russia and Europe will take part in this Workshop.
Workshop Objectives:
- Support of EU — Russia Coordinated Call at the frames of 3rd Call of FP7 (Aeronautics and Air Transport)
- Introduction of Russian aviation research organizations experimental basis capabilities in the light of priority cooperative projects in the frames of European research space ("Experiment and research technologies of the Russian enterprises")
