Test Facilities to Determine the Mass-Inertial Characteristics of Moving Objects

A unique methodology was designed and patented to determine the mass-inertial characteristics of moving objects. Automated test rigs to compute the mass, three coordinates of the centre of gravity and the inertia moments are implemented and successfully used in many organizations. These test rigs are used in aviation and space engineering, the objects which of have masses from 10 to 5000 kg. These test rigs have no analogues all over the world.

Advantages of the proposed measuring approach:

  • Measurement of 7 mass-inertial parameters at the same test rig (4 static parameters and 3 dynamic ones);
  • Measurement of all parameters within one test of the model inserted;
  • Tests duration is about 2-3 hours instead of several days;
  • Real time data processing.
