Flight acoustic tests of «Ànsat» helicopter with greater take-off weight have been completed
The specialists of the Moscow Affiliate of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute have participated in flight acoustic tests of the multimission lightweight "Ànsat" helicopter with 10% more take-off weight.
Acousticians have measured the local noise level and have defined more accurately the parameters of the take-off flight path, level flight and the approach. Currently, the establishment of measurement results to reference conditions of certification are in progress.
Based on the data obtained, TsAGI specialists will develop the support documents and issue the opinion letter confirming that the helicopter noise levels meet standard requirements. This opinion letter will enable Aviaregistr to issue the IAC certificate that proves the conformity of "Ansat" helicopter acoustic properties to ICAO and Federal Air Regulations requirements that are in force in Russia. This acoustics certificate is an indispensable prerequisite for the helicopter to be authorized for operation.
